 How it Works

The Rapid Vision Systems range of Covert CCTV equipment is specially modified for use by personnel who have no previous experience of CCTV. No Tools are required & Installation takes only a couple of minutes. Simply follow the instructions below:

Plug the DVR In Connect the Setup
Screen to the DVR		 Connect the Camera
Cable to the DVR		 Point the Camera at the
Target Area

It really is that simple! Cables for the Cameras and Setup Screen cannot be confused. They only fit the correct sockets.

All Cameras & the LCD Screen are powered directly from the DVR. No need for Extension Leads or additional Power Supplies.

The DVR starts Recording automatically, so the system can be left in place to record events as they occur.

All you need to order is a Camera, a DVR and a Setup Monitor. Everything else is supplied as part of the kit.

 

Viewing & Downloading Evidence

Video Evidence from the DVR is downloaded to a computer which can be connected using either a Network Cable, the WiFi Connection, or the optional 3G Transmission Link. The Free Software provided allows ease of access to all video footage.Evidence Download using WiFi or 3G

For customers who also wish to use their existing cameras with our system, we can supply quick fit Converter Cables. Alternatively, we can fit our Single 'Push Fit' connectors to your cameras. This service is Free of Charge.

 

The Cameras above form part of our standard range of equipment. Cameras may have either Pinhole or Quick Fit Interchangeable Lenses to enable facial recognition at the front door or across the street. The Long range Zoom Camera & Pan Tilt & Zoom Camera can also view at ranges in excess of 100 Metres to cater for any eventuality.

 

Digital Video Recorder Options

Our Digital Video Recorders (DVR) are designed & built ‘In House’. They have all the features of normal DVRs, plus a host of extras designed to make installation of Covert CCTV systems fast and simple.

The Rapid DVR and Wireless DVR are very compact units which can fit into tight spaces. The Toolbox DVR offers a convenient method of inserting equipment into premises without arousing any suspicion.

No Tools or previous experience of CCTV are required.

  • DVRs can be Mains or 12 volt Battery powered
  • The DVR then powers up to 4 Cameras & and the LCD Screen directly
  • No more tangled cables. No more Power Supplies for each Camera. No more Mains Extension Leads
  • Camera Cables are modified with Single Push Fit Connectors, which only fit the correct sockets
  • Record for almost 2 months before the earliest information is overwritten in a continuous loop
  • The Hard Drive Ejection System enables the Drive to be removed in seconds for viewing later at your own office.

The equipment above forms our standard range. Customers with other requirements or new ideas may wish to take advantage of our Design & Build Service. If your idea is accepted, we will build a camera into a new housing and provide it for you to test Free of Charge. If the new product performs well, then it will be added to our portfolio for the benefit of other customers.

Free Delivery is included in the price of our Covert CCTV Systems to any location in the mainland UK.
