The Rapid Vision Systems range of Door Viewer Cameras provides, a quick response tool to combat offences including, Anti-Social Behaviour, Domestic Violence, Fraud and Distraction Burglaries. All incidents, including sound, are recorded in high quality and can be used as evidence in Court.

Door Viewer Cameras are ideal for use in Rapid Deployment situations. Systems can be fitted in minutes and redeployed at a moments notice when the problem has been resolved. No previous experience of CCTV is required.

Our Door Viewer Cameras can be redeployed many times without fear of breakage. Unlike normal systems which are designed to be fitted only once, our Door Viewer Cameras are robust units which have been specifically designed for this purpose.

All system components can be purchased separately to allow maximum flexibility.

How the System Works

The Movement Sensor Detects Individuals as they Approach the Door The Occupant Can See Who Is at the Door Using the LCD Screen The System Starts to Record Automatically Video Evidence stored on the internal SD Card is downloaded to a Computer for use in Court

Product Features

  • The Rapid Door Viewer Camera can replace an existing Door Viewer and fits any hole of 12mm diameter or greater.
  • Systems are simple to install and can be fitted in a couple of minutes, if replacing an existing Door Viewer.
  • The system is completely automatic and switches on and off when movement is detected within 2 metres of the doorway. Longer detection ranges up to 10 metres are available on request.
  • Video Recordings (Including Sound) are stored on an SD Card of up to 16Gb which can be removed and played on a computer.
  • The integral battery pack enables the system to operate for weeks without recharging.
  • Mains electricity can also be used to power the system or recharge the Battery pack using the Power Supply Unit supplied.
  • The occupant has no access to any control functions or the SD Card, thus maintaining continuity of evidence
  • All system components can be purchased separately, so additional cameras or replacement parts can be added as required.

Rapid Door Viewer Cameras

The Rapid Door Viewer is an Overt Camera fitted with a miniature PIR Movement Sensor which is designed as an obvious camera to deter Bogus Callers, Distraction Burglars or persons who may wish to defraud, rob or harm the occupant.

Any movement within 2 metres of the door will trigger the Digital Video Recorder which will record all events, including sound, as they occur.

 

Covert Door Viewer Cameras

The Covert Door Viewer Camera is designed to gain both Video and Audio Evidence in situations where an Overt camera cannot be used.

This camera is disguised as a normal push button door bell which also operates as a fully functional door chime. The camera functions are however, completely independent of the doorbell and operate automatically in the same way as the normal Rapid Door Viewer Camera above.

 

Standalone Door Viewer Cameras

Standalone Door Viewer Cameras can be supplied as either Overt or Covert units.

These cameras look the same as the Rapid Door Viewer and Covert Door Viewer Cameras above, but they are designed for 'always on' recording.

The cameras are connected to either the Rapid DVR or our Wireless DVR which also powers the cameras directly. No additional cables are therefore required. More information regarding the Rapid DVR and Wireless DVR is available Here

 

Installation Procedure

Push the Camera Tube Through the Door Slide the Backbox onto the Tube & Screw on the Retaining Cap Fit the Camera Connection Cable to the internal Connector Switch On then Fit the Outer Cover

Viewing & Downloading Evidence

All Incidents recorded on the Door Viewer Camera are stored in .AVI format which allows viewing on any computer. It is then a simple matter to burn the footage to a DVD for use as Evidence in Court.

The equipment above forms our standard range. Customers with other requirements or new ideas may wish to take advantage of our Design & Build Service. If your idea is accepted, we will build a camera into a new housing and provide it for you to test Free of Charge. If the new product performs well, then it will be added to our portfolio for the benefit of other customers.
