These remarkable 'Plug & Play' cameras can be used for permanent installations, or short term situations where Redeployable Wireless CCTV equipment provides a fast response to the problem.

Remote Sentry Cameras use digital video transmission. Unlike older analogue transmission technology, digital transmissions are far more resilient to interference from other devices.

Pan, Tilt & Zoom functionality is also available over the wireless transmission link.

Cameras can be mains or battery powered. Optional Battery Packs power the camera for up to 7 days. (Larger Battery packs are available on request).


How it Works

Remote Sentry Cameras can be installed in minutes. Fit the camera & apply electrical power. The camera will start automatically.

Fit the Remote Sentry to a Lamp Column or Wall and apply Mains or Battery Power Digital Video Images are Transmitted to a Wireless Video Receiver as soon as power is applied Full Pan Tilt and Zoom Control is available at the Receiving & Recording Station where a DVR records images 24/7 An optional 3G or Broadband Link enables Live Viewing or downloading from your own office or vehicle

 


Installation & Deployment

Remote Sentry Systems are normally supplied as pre-configured kits complete with a Digital Video Recorder. Simply plug them in and the cameras will connect to the system automatically..

Cameras and Wireless Video Receivers can also be supplied as separate items to fit into existing CCTV installations.  A full installation Service is available if required.

Wireless CCTV Kits can be used in any open space area to combat crime, or simply to monitor the area for other reasons including, health & safety, progress of works or volume of traffic. They can also be used inside buildings to cover areas which would not otherwise be viewed by CCTV.

 


Viewing & Downloading Evidence

Video Evidence contained on the Hard Drive of the DVR can be viewed directly using an LCD Monitor or it can be downloaded to a Computer using either a WiFi connection, a Network Cable, or via an optional Wireless 3G or Broadband Link. Wireless CCTV - Remote Sentry

The 3G connection or Broadband link enables Live Viewing of an operation from a remote location at any time of the day or night.

This facility is ideal for carrying out spot checks or to view an incident in progress. It can also be used to download pre-recorded evidence without having to visit the site.

The free software provided, is simple to use and Evidence Videos can be burned to a DVD for use in Court.

The Remote Sentry is supplied as a complete Plug & Play system consisting of the Camera and a Wireless Video Receiver with full Telemetry functions to Pan Tilt & Zoom the Camera.

The Remote Sentry can achieve wireless transmission ranges of up to 250 metres using the standard internal whip antenna. Longer ranges are available using high gain antennae.

Wireless CCTV Cameras Where line of sight is not possible, transmission units can be reconfigured to become remote repeaters to re-broadcast video signals around corners and thus extend coverage.

Up to 4 Remote Sentry Cameras can be connected to a single Wireless Receiver making this an extremely flexible, easy to use system which requires no previous CCTV experience to set up.

Additional cameras can be added to the system as required and a range of Digital Recording equipment is available to cope with up to 16 cameras.

The Remote Sentry is available in 2 versions, offering a choice of either Analogue or Network connections to a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or Network Video Recorder (NVR).

 


Remote Sentry - Custom

In circumstances where a more complex system is required, the Remote Sentry can be configured as a custom built system.

Site Surveys are carried out Free of Charge and a full Specification and Quotation will then be provided.

Complete Wireless CCTV Networks are also available with transmission ranges up to 15 Kilometres. A wide range of static or PTZ cameras can also be provided which can cope with any lighting conditions including total darkness.
